I an ex member of both 7 and 8 Squadron's of the Rhodesian war spending most of my operational time on Seven Squadron as a K Car gunner. I was credited for shooting down a fixed wing aircraft from a K Car on the 9 August 1979.   1. Simply OUTSTANDING photographs! Thank you; Thank you! I can not wait to read this book! Do you--by chance--happen to have a picture of the fabled "Command Dak" that was spoken about at length in ""Winds of Destruction?"" Also, in the same book, P.B. spoke about testing an optically guided 20mm gunners platform--of South African make--on an Alouette III. I understand that Rhodesia was the initial test-bed for this system that is now commonplace in Gunships across the globe. I wouldn't mind laying eyes on it if you were so inclined. Thanks.
