THE RHODESIAN AFRICAN RIFLES -CHOPPERTECH

RAR COLOURS
RAR CAP BADGE

MAJOR ANDRE DENNISON B.C.R. C/O A COY 2 RAR - Pencil drawing by Beaver Shaw

Andre was a fine soldier and an excellent K Car commander -his men would follow him to hell and back , they called him K Car because of the way he carried his weapon in action.

Andre died in a blue on blue incident just outside the Zimbabwe Ruins hotel in 1979.

Choppertech describes many incidents on Fireforce operations with Andre Dennison and 2 RAR. One story of note is a description of the action in which Richard Cecil (Lord Salisbury) a British journalist and filmaker was killed in action with the Mtoko Fireforce.

I love working with the RAR and was well liked by them.

I welcome comments from everyone on my book Choppertech.
I am interested especially on hearing from former ZANLA and ZIPRA combatants who also have thier story to tell.
